Nature's Cupboard is celebrating 40 years in Michigan City!

LaVora Tucker was a natural foods pioneer when she founded Nature's Cupboard in 1980.  She played an integral part in the early days of the supplement industry's fight for consumer's rights.  She lobbied in Washington D.C. for the Dietary Supplement Health and Education Act of 1994. When passed, the law kept vitamins freely available to consumers without having to obtain prescriptions.  LaVora introduced a new way of eating and living with Nature's Cupboard and served the community she lived in with her heart and soul. The legacy continues.
