Our family owned business began in 2010 with just six hives and little knowledge! Our family has long been involved in agriculture and the bee business was a natural spin-off in the face of the declining bee population and pollination issues associated with honey bee hives.

Farming For Life

Rochester, Indiana

In 2003, while living on my organic farm, I began to ferment a few foods in a half dozen crocks, selling them at local farmer's markets.
With the help of our small team of skilled employees, we now produce 14 live-culture foods in over 90 European ceramic crocks and 8 drinks in glass bubblers. We use only fresh whole organic foods, organic spices and herbs, and the sea salt with the highest amount of trace minerals we can find (90!).

TurkeyFoot Farm is a Certified Naturally Grown small farm located in rural northwest Indiana. We grow organic, nutrient dense, tasty meats and vegetables for CSA and restaurants. TurkeyFoot Farm is owned and operated by Ry Hook. It is on the same homestead as Hook Pottery Paper his parents and teachers.

The Sanders Dairy Farm has been in business over 30 years on a farm that has been in the family for over 130 years.
